Perry Ray Ward

	Perry Ray Ward, 75, of DuQuoin, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2001 at 10:25 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
	Mr. Ward was a Machinist at Streamline Mine.  He was a member of Sunfield United Methodist Church, DuQuoin American Legion Post 647, DuQuoin VFW Post 513, UMWA and the National Rifle Association.  He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of World War II.
	He was born April 25, 1925 at Nashville, the son of Clyde and Esther (Moellur) Ward.  He married Catherine Eaton on July 17, 1946 at Sunfield.
	Surviving are his wife, Catherine Ward of DuQuoin and many nieces and nephews.
	Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
	Funeral services were Wednesday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Dunn officiating.  Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park at DuQuoin.
	Friends called at Neal-McClure Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service.
